Itchy Pet Awareness Month
 
CANINE OF THE MONTH:
Our Canine of the Month is K9 Kota. He is a 6 month old German Shepherd Mix. He will do anything you ask for a ball to chase or some snacks to chow down on. He is mastering advanced obedience and barking on command.

What is new in the wonderful world of United K9 Academy San Marcos? Our monthly newsletter will now be coming out every month. You will get in-depth updates on our newest classes, workshops, and social hours.

  • Overnight Pet Sitting is Here! - Need to go out of town but don't want your animals to leave your house? Our trainers are now able to pet sit for you overnight.
  • Group Lessons - Group lessons are back and staring up again this month.
Coming in September:
  • Monthly Maintenance Plan - Starting in September our trainers are beginning a new monthly training maintenance plan for all past clients. Look for an email describing all the activities included in this plan.
 
 
Breed of the Month:

The Breed of this Month is the Otterhound. This sent hound was bred to hunt otters in Medieval England and makes an amazing pet for the whole family. Click below to read more about the Otterhound.

Monthly Howl Photo Contest


The Monthly Howl needs a new Canine of the Month for the September issue!

Submit your canine's picture along with their name, age, breed(s), and some of their hobbies for a chance to win. The winner will receive a bag of treats, 2 free 30 minute walks (to be performed by one of our certified trainers within 30 days of the award date), and a free photo session with your canine.

Submissions can be sent to either our Facebook Page under the appropriate post or emailed to admin@unitedk9academysanmarcos.com with "The September Howl Photo Contest" in the subject line.

Entries for the September issue will be accepted from August 1st through August 16th. The winner will be chosen on August 17th.
