CANINE OF THE MONTH:
Our Canine of the Month is K9 Geisha. She is a 4 year old Rottweiler who comes to us all the way from Serbia. She is training to become a Psychiatric K9 who will protect her handler. She will slobber all over you given half a chance, she loves her toys, and she will do just about anything for a treat.
United K9 Academy - What's New?!
What is new in the wonderful world of United K9 Academy San Marcos? Our monthly newsletter will now be coming out every month. You will get in-depth updates on our newest classes, workshops, and social hours.

  • Monthly Maintenance Plan - Starting this month our trainers are beginning a new monthly training maintenance plan for all past clients. Look for an email describing all the activities included in this plan.
  • Doggie Portraits - We now offer portraits of your pup at our events. Come out and see us for a lovely photo with your dog!
Coming in February:
  • Dog Camp - Send your pup to camp for the day to review all the training they have learned with us. This will be available to all past and present clients with United K9 Academy.
 
 
Breed of the Month:

The Breed of this Month is the South African Boerbel. The South African Boerbel (boo-r-bell), nicknamed the 'African Mastiff,' is a large, strong boned breed used for guarding farms and hunting large game. A mastiff breed, these dogs are incredibly loyal to their families and are great for experienced dog owners. Click below to learn more about this amazing breed.

Monthly Howl Photo Contest


The Monthly Howl needs a new Canine of the Month for the February issue!

Submit your canine's picture along with their name, age, breed(s), and some of their hobbies for a chance to win. The winner will receive a bag of treats, 2 free 30 minute walks (to be performed by one of our certified trainers within 30 days of the award date), and a free photo session with your canine.

Submissions can be sent to either our Facebook Page under the appropriate post or emailed to admin@unitedk9academysanmarcos.com with "The February Howl Photo Contest" in the subject line.

Entries for the February issue will be accepted from January 1st through January 16th. The winner will be chosen on January 17th.
