Canine Diabetes Awareness Month
 
CANINE OF THE MONTH:
Our Canine of the Month is K9 Duncan. He is a 2 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd who loves his tennis ball. He is a good boi for his mom whom loves to spoil him rotten. He loves attention and pets. People say his eyes are the best feature about him. His favorite command is "sit".
United K9 Academy - What's New?!
What is new in the wonderful world of United K9 Academy San Marcos? Our monthly newsletter will now be coming out every month. You will get in-depth updates on our newest classes, workshops, and social hours.

  • Monthly Maintenance Plan - Starting this month our trainers are beginning a new monthly training maintenance plan for all past clients. Look for an email describing all the activities included in this plan.
  • Overnight Pet Sitting is Here! - Need to go out of town but don't want your animals to leave your house? Our trainers are now able to pet sit for you overnight.
  • Group Lessons - Group lessons are ongoing in Austin, Kyle, Buda, and Bastrop!
Coming in December:
  • Doggie Portraits - Stay tuned for our events where canine portraits will be available.
 
 
Breed of the Month:

The Breed of this Month is the Cesky Terrier. This terrier is the national dog of the Czech Republic. This pup is a clever and adventurous playmate for kids and an eager walking buddy for the folks. They are tenacious at work, but a little more laid back and tractable than the usual terrier. Click below to read more.

Monthly Howl Photo Contest


The Monthly Howl needs a new Canine of the Month for the December issue!

Submit your canine's picture along with their name, age, breed(s), and some of their hobbies for a chance to win. The winner will receive a bag of treats, 2 free 30 minute walks (to be performed by one of our certified trainers within 30 days of the award date), and a free photo session with your canine.

Submissions can be sent to either our Facebook Page under the appropriate post or emailed to admin@unitedk9academysanmarcos.com with "The December Howl Photo Contest" in the subject line.

Entries for the December issue will be accepted from November 1st through November 16th. The winner will be chosen on November 17th.
