CANINE OF THE MONTH:
Our Canine of the Month is K9 Outlaw. She is a 1 year old American Bulldog who loves to get all the attention and pets. Despite being born blind in 1 eye, she lives her doggie life to the fullest. She will slobber all over you given half a chance and she is always up for lap cuddles.
United K9 Academy - What's New?!
What is new in the wonderful world of United K9 Academy San Marcos? Our monthly newsletter will now be coming out every month. You will get in-depth updates on our newest classes, workshops, and social hours.

  • Monthly Maintenance Plan - Starting this month our trainers are beginning a new monthly training maintenance plan for all past clients. Look for an email describing all the activities included in this plan.
Coming in January:
  • Doggie Portraits - Stay tuned for our events where canine portraits will be available.
 
 
Breed of the Month:

The Breed of this Month is the Sloughi. The ancient Sloughi, nicknamed the 'Arabian Greyhound,' is a lean, swift coursing hound who hunted a variety of game in North African deserts. A classic sighthound, the Sloughi is regally aloof with strangers and gentle with loved ones. Click below to read more.

Monthly Howl Photo Contest


The Monthly Howl needs a new Canine of the Month for the January issue!

Submit your canine's picture along with their name, age, breed(s), and some of their hobbies for a chance to win. The winner will receive a bag of treats, 2 free 30 minute walks (to be performed by one of our certified trainers within 30 days of the award date), and a free photo session with your canine.

Submissions can be sent to either our Facebook Page under the appropriate post or emailed to admin@unitedk9academysanmarcos.com with "The January Howl Photo Contest" in the subject line.

Entries for the January issue will be accepted from December 1st through December 16th. The winner will be chosen on December 17th.
