CANINE OF THE MONTH:
Our Canine of the Month is K9 Bear. He is a 1 year old Blue Doberman Pincer. True to his breed he is a little derpy every now and then. He will do anything for his momma, a thrown ball, or a good treat. He loves to run around in large spaces and learn how to help his Mom.
United K9 Academy - What's New?!
What is new in the wonderful world of United K9 Academy San Marcos?

  • Therapy Dog Teams - We have around 4 different therapy dog teams. Look for us in schools, VA centers, and nursing homes near you!
  • Group Agility Classes are Here! - Agility Classes will begin this month and run for the next 11 weeks.
  • Group Lessons - Group lessons are ongoing in Austin, Kyle, Buda, and Bastrop!
  • Now Hiring - We are hiring! Apply using the link below.
Coming in December:
  • Group Obedience Lessons - Group obedience lessons will resume in December
  • Pet Taxi Services - Our trainers will be offering local pet taxi services to clients.
  • Memberships - Our month-to-month memberships are being redesigned and will be offered up beginning in December.
 
 
Breed of the Month:

The Breed of this Month is the Dalmatian. This particular breed has some rather unknown origins as it is known the world over. Dals have been used as "coach dogs" to watch over horses and the coach when unattended. Click below to read more about the Dalmatian.

Monthly Howl Photo Contest


The Monthly Howl needs a new Canine of the Month for the December issue!

Submit your canine's picture along with their name, age, breed(s), and some of their hobbies for a chance to win. The winner will receive a bag of treats, 2 free 30 minute walks (to be performed by one of our certified trainers within 30 days of the award date), and a free photo session with your canine.

Submissions can be sent to either our Facebook Page under the appropriate post or emailed to admin@unitedk9academysanmarcos.com with "The December Howl Photo Contest" in the subject line.

Entries for the December issue will be accepted from November 1st through November 27th. The winner will be chosen on November 28th.
